Images & provenance

A setting for your own family stories.

The scenes shown around HeirloomMath are AI-created illustrations. The memoir you make is your own.

We use fictional people, places, and objects to suggest the kinds of memories you might collect. These images were created for HeirloomMath; they do not depict real customers, submitted family stories, or documents from a genuine family archive.

The six memoir scenes

These illustrations accompany our writing prompts and sample layouts. They are decorative scenes, not photographs supplied by a memoir’s author.

The archive and tool illustrations

The archive desk, scanning equipment, photographs, and family papers used in the guides and two companion tools are also AI-created editorial illustrations. They are not scans from a real family collection.

Illustrations are not historical evidence

People in the scenes and any names, writing, or dates that appear are fictional. Do not use these images to identify an ancestor, transcribe a date, establish a relationship, or assess a real restoration result. None of these scenes is a scanner test or a before-and-after restoration example.

Your memoir uses your pictures

The memoir workbench lets you add your own photographs locally. Adding a photo does not send it for AI processing. Any fictional examples shown elsewhere on the site are labeled as examples, not presented as customer memoirs.

The photo inspector includes separately generated, synthetic color samples for demonstrating its histogram. When you choose a photo from your device, the inspector analyzes that image locally in your browser. Decorative scenes are not used as measurement samples.

Keep originals and evidence together

For your own family collection, preserve the original scan and record its source. Label edited or generated versions clearly. The editorial policy explains the distinction between worked calculations, published references, and field tests still awaiting evidence.
